The idea of having this centre has been a dream for many of us in this part of the world in order to unite the efforts of many Muslim scholars so they can give a collective guidance to Muslims on different issues of Halal & Haram and also to protect the Halal consumers when it comes to foods, drinks and other consumables.

The idea of having this centre has been a dream for many of us in this part of the world in order to unite the efforts of many Muslim scholars so they can give a collective guidance to Muslims on different issues of Halal & Haram and also to protect the Halal consumers when it comes to foods, drinks and other consumables.
For instance, since 2014, it has become mandatory in Canada for Halal products to be labelled and certified as Halal. However, the problem cannot be solved unless the certifiers are audited and accredited. This is why and how CHART has to play a role.
